Mattel UNO Roboto Game - The Funnest Game in the Galaxy

Hi, I wanted to take a minute to talk about a new project of mine on the Mattel UNO Roboto Game. Well first of all, let me back up a minute. Good evening, how are you doing on this wonderful night? Sorry, I had to squeeze that in. I have been trying to ask people how they are doing before I ask something from them or push my agenda. So there you go....just trying to make myself a better person.

Well, why UNO. I remember playing it many moons ago in school with my friends. It's the only card game that I could because of the type of school that it was. Let's just say that poker cards were not okay!

What's your favorite UNO memory? Well for me it was playing just with two people. You could really unload your cards on somebody if you timed it just right. Skip, skip, draw two, draw two, draw four, draw four, skip, skip........UNO! Yep, I was that kid! It was lots of fun and I have lots of fond memories playing.

So I hope you have a wonderful night. Thanksgiving is just next week as I am typing. And I just love the Holiday Season. Christmas music is already playing on the radio. Its a little early, but I just love it.

The Best Toddler Girl Toys - A Christmas Galaxy

Hi, I wanted to take a minute to talk about the best toddler girl toys this morning. I am off work this morning because of the Holiday, so I wanted to take a minute to share with you a few things on my mind. Particularly as they involve Christmas presents for my little girl.

So here is what I have in mind. First of all I got her a really nice ornament last year and I will again this year. But that's not what a she really wants. She wants toys, right? So here is my plan.

A small little play kitchen set will be a great little addition to her toys. She already has gotten play food and things like that for her little playroom. So a kitchen set will work out just great.

And then maybe a ride on toy of some kind. Honestly, I really haven't made up my mind on that one yet. But It really gets me thinking. Her mother wants to get something like that, but I think she will just be too scared.

So there you go. It's getting closer to Christmas everyday and even Christmas music is starting on the radio. Happy Holidays.

So as the day comes to a close, and I take another sip of tea, my thoughts take me to tailgates of old. Okay enough of that. If you are in search of a quiet portable generator, here are a few things to consider.

How much power do you need?

If you are going to run a tv and a satellite then a 1000w model should be just fine. But if you are going to run a fan a maybe a microwave or something larger like that, then you are going to need at least a 2000w model.

Well, I am getting ready to go to bed, so I thought I would make a post about Lego Minecraft micro world. I grew up with legos but have just recently been introduced to the world of minecraft.

I honestly had no idea what it was. I thought it was something like warcraft. Some weird role playing game that people waste their whole lives messing with.

So as this week comes to a close, there are a lot of things on my mind these days and I really feel like I have gotten a lot done today. Legos are toys, but big kids can play with toys, right?

Presto Poplite Hot Air Popper - Healthy Popcorn Never Tasted So Good

It's a breezy cool football morning here on the plains and I just wanted to take a minute to talk about the Presto Poplite hot air popcorn popper. And just how is it relevant to this gorgeous day? Well obviously popcorn and football go hand in hand. And if you are thinking about breaking out the butter, oil or that stale bag of microwave popcorn, stop for a minute and think about a healthier alternative.

Okay, so I don't want to be preachy, but I have been very aware of my health lately. And considering healthier options not only is a great idea, but you may just feel better about yourself and actually feel better, if you know what I mean.

Orville Redenbacher once said, "I never met a healthy kernel of pop corn I didn't like. And furthermore, if popcorn is worth eating, then it is worth eating healthy!" Okay, first of all, I made that up. But it sure did sound good didn't it?

My point is, pop corn just doesn't have to be covered in butter and salt to taste good. And there is a better way to cooking popcorn in oil or throwing that bag into the microwave with all of those chemicals and artificial flavoring that experts say may be bad for us.

That's a whole 'nother topic all together. Don't get me started about artificial sweeteners and the like.  They are poison. I don't consider myself a health nut by any means. If you ask my wife, she would say I don't work out and need to be more active.

Shade Shack Instant Pop Up Family Beach Tent - The Best Tent in the Galaxy

What I wanted to do today was to take a minute to talk about the shade shack instant pop up family beach tent and sun shelter. I have one and quite frankly, I wish I had two....well maybe not two, but I do love it.

And why do I love it and why is it so great?

First of all, when it is all packed up in its included carrying bag, its about the size of a really big pizza. Yep, it is quite compact.

But how does this canopy hold up when it is put up on the beach?

Well, to be honest, it does not do so great in the wind. A stiff wind will blow the shade shack over and kind of deform it. But there is a high point to how it handles the wind. There are pockets on the side that you can fill up with sand to keep it from blowing away.  Absolutely genius.

Why do I have one?

Well, I bought it to keep my daughter out of the sun while we are on the beach.  My wife and I love the beach so we had to have something to keep us and her out of the sun. Sunscreen isn't enough you know. That brand new skin can burn very easily.

Christmas Vacation Moose Mugs From My Favorite Movie in the Galaxy

I don't know about you, but I just love Christmas. And every Christmas....well if the truth be told, around Thanksgiving, my family pulls out my favorite movie in the galaxy. And it just happens to be from my favorite decade...the 80's....and my favorite time of year. And that movie is Christmas Vacation. And my favorite part of the movie is those great little eggnog receptacles called Christmas Vacation moose mugs. Yep, cousin Eddie and Clark would be proud.

That's right, the one with Chevy Chase. Have you seen Chevy lately. He is an old man, scary. So, why do I love it so much. Because of cousin Eddie of Course. And his white patent leather shoes. Amazingly funny.

My favorite quote from the movie is... well it goes something like... I wouldn't be more surprised if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet....maybe not exactly the quote, but you get the idea.

And the other amazing props from the movie, like the Tasmanian devil coffee cup and that Santa jacket. I have been looking for that Jacket for years, but just can't find it anywhere. Just will have to keep looking I guess.

So as we get closer to the holiday season, go ahead and pull out your favorite Christmas DVD. I know I will, and share a little holiday cheer.

Hello And Welcome to My New Blog

Hi and thanks for stopping by. I just needed a place to talk about the things that I love and am passionate about. For starters I love being a dad so I will talk about my daughter regularly.

Now as for why I chose the title to my new blog.  And the short answer is, I have simply no idea why. When it asked my what I wanted the title to be, that's the first thing that popped into my head so I went with it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Remember the book and movie that came out several years ago, hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, yep, that's where I got the idea from.

So anyway, there you go. I hope you enjoy the ride. My interests are very eclectic, let's say.
